After much prevaricating I have decided to share the whole truth about my progress as evidenced by photos.
My next post will contain today’s progress photographs, taken this morning, at the end of 10 week ten. I have trained hard and eaten sensibly for 70 days.
But before you look I would just like to say that whatever your opinion, this is me at my most honest and vulnerable. I have nothing to sell and no products to promote.
I’m not suggesting for one moment that what I’ve done will be right for anyone else, all I know is that it is right for me. If sharing my musings and photos encourages one person to find their path then it will all have been worthwhile.
Every morsel that I have eaten and every exercise that I’ve done has been photographed and logged in each day’s journal. Over the course of this weekend I will add all of my journals, week by week, to the progress section of my site.
What I’ve done is true, real and still a work in progress. I have spent 18 years failing to look after the body that I need to be strong and healthy into old age. I’ve finally found a way to improve my health and life expectancy and have decided to share it. The fabulous side effect is that I’m also losing the body fat that I never believed I could lose.
So, do with my story what you will – the only thing that I ask of you when you see my progress photos is please, be kind.
However vulnerable this makes you feel, I know that everyone reading your blog and looking at your progress pics will have nothing but admiration. Your honesty is inspirational to women in their 40s who feel they have lost their way with weight and body image.
